  • I have been coming here for years but now I am just shocked. My mother, also a long time patient, came on a Wednesday with vomiting, fever, chills and a cough for 4 days. Blood tests were taken and she was sent home with Cipro. On Friday of the same week she went back complaining of the same and adding night sweats. They sent her home. On Saturday morning I took her to the emergency room from severe dehydration. She was jaundice and had a deathly infection. We were told had I not brought her in, she would be dead by now. I can not help but think that what if I was not around to check on her? What if she just followed doctor's orders and stayed home. To make matters worse on Tuesday, 5 days after the blood tests were drawn they called saying her tests were within "normal" range. She had already been in the hospital three days. We told them she was in the hospital and the nurses reply was "oh that's good you were there to take her in." Then after five days in the hospital, they called again. Thinking they were checking up on her I listened to the message. No, instead they just left a message for her to come in for a glucose test. So you never noticed how sick my mom was, how severely dehydrated she was and when you found out, you didn't even have the decency to check on her but just wanted her to come for more tests? Her labs showed tons of warning signs such as extreme elevation of white blood cells and you missed it? Fortunately, my mother will live but that is NOT because of you.
