I arrived and checked in on 12/24-12/26. The room was FREEZING. After several adjustments and contacting the front desk, who were no help at all. We finally had to suck it up that our room was going to be cold. We spent a lot of time OUT of the room because it was so cold. The phone in the front room did not dial out to guest service, room service, or the front desk.
I had to go into the bedroom area to make calls. Our stay felt like we were in Alaska. The hotel is undergoing renovation ( I had no problem with this) The free breakfast was staffed by very helpful workers. The breakfast options were plenty. The evening manager reception was nice, however their were children there whose parents were not watching them and the kids touched every piece of watermelon, picked each slice up and put it down. I don't fault the hotel for this as they are not babysitters, but I don't understand why the reception is open to children. I am giving a 2 star rating because the rooms were freezing cold, and after complaining and asking for assistance nothing was done. At check out, I again voiced my feedback and was told, "Yeah...sorry about that. I will let the manager know"
