  • First time staying here since Harrah's had bought it out. This is pretty much the 2nd tier hotel after Caesar's in their chain. I got hooked up w/ a resort room which had some Clint Eastwood memorabilia in it. The rooms are updated and moderately priced...though they're nothing like the suites at Aria or Palazzo/Venetian but you'll get better value from PH. Cab fare to and from the airport is about $20. Make sure to get your room in the North Tower which is newer and easier to get to. Fountain view is nice as hell when u just wanna chill in the room for a bit. Miracle Mile shops are convenient with stores that you would actually buy stuff from as opposed to overpriced boutiques. The casino area is sexy and lively w/ the Passion Pit girls and music going on well into the night with a lounge area in the center if you just wanna drink and kick it. It'll keep you distracted enough to hit on 15. It's too bad PrivĂ© got shut down as that was a nice club. But I hear there are some other things in the works here that should offer up some better nightlife. I'm a fan of this casual and hip hotel and this will be my first choice when using my comps w/ Harrahs. Pai Gow: There are about 3 tables that I saw. One is on the far end facing the bar. Sucks that none of them are in the passion pit. Though I've never seen pai gow in any of the high traffic areas usually. Then again I've never seen a hot pai gow dealer...lol.
