The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but as someone who is tired of restaurants named for a celebrity that sell you a $25 breakfast, I'm happy to be on this end of the Boulevard. Vickie's is an old school diner where everything is cooked in front of you on the flat top and the prices are reminiscent of the days before Vegas became all about bottle service.
Service is friendly, and if you're in there early enough your server also cooks your food. It's not fussy. Your omelette will have American cheese and your toast might be a little burnt. But that's part of the charm of eating at a real diner and not a Strip hotel restaurant decorated to look like one.
