  • As usual I was looking to get a solid place to stay a few nights, while not breaking the bank, for a spring training trip to the Phoenix area and this place was what I got from hotwire (Chandler 3 star). For three nights we paid roughly $250 total for a very large suite that had a king sized bed in bedroom and a large pull out sectional couch in the family room. This perfectly accommodated the three of us and included a better-than-standard breakfast each weekday morning we were there. Its location was fine, nearby all kinds of restaurants and things of that nature. There is a new 24 hour Walmart two blocks away, too, if you need to buy anything like snacks, etc. It takes about 20 minutes to drive north to the PHX airport and central Phoenix area. I would stay here again for spring training for sure. Only casual fans need to pay the huge prices in March to stay in nice places near Scottsdale Stadium. Save your money for beer and BBQ at the games by staying here.
