  • This place is a magical palace for all things musical. You could spend hours here browing the "rooms" and checking out percussion, guitars, keyboards, etc. There is no place like this anyway in the world. I honrestly think that is their claim to fame - they are the largest music store in the world! Ive been to music alley on 48th st in NYC a thousand times - and aside from the historical ambiance there..."hey buddy, did you know that Peter Buck was just strumming that guitar 15 mins ago..." nothing beats the exploration at Cosmo. They did a great job in planning the new design which is a huge step up from their small, cavernous digs that were at Yonge and 16th ave. Not that there was anything wrong with that place - but the new digs on Leslie St are just too crazy good to pass up Staff is dynamic and fun and so knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable as well...so while I love Steves and L&M, you cant beat the experience that is Cosmo!
