  • Short version: There's just a special kind of unacceptable disappointment for a place like this. When you charge a certain price, you expect a certainly level of freshness of the seafood and service. This place lacks in both on the night that we visited. Decor: 5/5 I really liked the look of this place... to the point that we were looking at hosting our wedding reception here but decided to check it out before requesting a proposal for our event. Visually, I love it. Cleanliness: 5/5 It was very clean. No spotty silverware or glasses. No random napkins under the table. It's exactly what you would expect. Food: 3/5 So the food was "good". It's just not where it should have been for the price point. We didn't get any bread. I saw other tables with one, but we were never offered one. My fiance food it strange then was a bit upset when he saw another table with a bread basket. The lobster bisque made you wonder what you were paying for and where the lobster was. It's like a bad Scooby-Doo mystery. My other complaint is around the fact that the seafood was really not all that fresh. I ordered the lobster dinner. Many the local seafood places off of the Strip have fresher food. Many restaurants in the same range on the Strip have better quality seafood. I was really surprised by this with all of the accolades that they post on the website; however, if you see the plaques on the way to the restroom, they are from several years prior... and the food definitely tastes like it. (Correction: They were awarded in 2017. Still baffling for me unless I just got a bad lobster. The service really has mad me quite grumpy. No excuse. I should have fact checked this statement.) Service: 1/5 I had the would have to say I've had the worst waitress that I have ever had in my entire life. She took our order with a bit of a snotty attitude, and we didn't see her again until she dropped off the check and was looking for her tip. I couldn't tip her, and I always tip. I ended up withdrawing cash in the casino and giving is to the assistant because I was told that if I put anything on the check that it would go to her. Not gonna happen! Her assistant did the best he could but seemed new to this type of service. He had such a willing, helpful attitude that it made you really lose sight of that... especially after dealing with the waitress staring at our table as she walked by but never actually saying anything to us. I definitely got the impression that we were not welcome and/or wanted. I let the manager know my thoughts with examples when I left. I would never host anything at this restaurant! It would be an embarrassment to have them deal with the service that we experienced.
