I am so disappointed! After belonging to 24 hours for many years (almost 10), they up and doubled my membership fees. I paid a hefty amount up front so that I wouldn't have to endure monthly fees. However, they just increased my annual membership fees 100%. And they want it paid in 30 days. Yes, they can legally do this according to my contract. I waited on the phone for customer service for over an hour (I actually made dinner while waiting). The customer rep said the reason for the increase is that they plan on improving all of their facilities within the next two years. Really? The facilities are bare minimum with about 75% of the equipment working most of the time. The staff are all very nice and attentive, however, my concern is that they are going to continue to raise their fees because they can. What a sham, buyer beware!! I was told several times during my phone conversation that "corporate" does not care about the customers -- that is very true from their actions. I'm so done with 24 hours.
