| - Oyster Bar is one of those places that is "worth the wait"!
I have been there a couple of times now... and the first visit was met with almost two-hour wait. I am so glad that I stuck it out because the Combo Pan Roast was what dreams are made of!
I have also tried the oysters and I think everyone should at least try them at some point... as they are very good. BUT... the restaurant should probably be named "Pan Roast Bar". Or even "Bouillabaisse Bar." Of course, neither of those names have quite the same ring to them as Oyster Bar. And since the name is probably not going to change anytime soon, let's just go with it.
Anyway, I digress... the Combo Pan Roast is creamy, delicious, and packed with lobster, crab, and shrimp! All for about $24!
On my second visit, I learned the best tip from a local who had been there "around 100 times"... he suggested getting the Lobster Pan Roast AND adding crab to it. This ends up costing a few extra dollars, but the combo pan roast is packed with A LOT of shrimp. And let's face it, when ordering a dish with lobster, crab, and shrimp, the shrimp is the seafood that you want the least of. This local's pan roast was PACKED with lobster and crab! A thing of beauty that satisfies all of the senses!
