My boyfriend and I have had this on our "go-to" list for a while so finally checked it out the other night. We were only one of five tables in the entire restaurant. I enjoyed the Cuban decor. They obviously have a band on the weekends so I can imagine it gets pretty packed. Our server Cristina was great - attentive without being over-bearing.
We started with the red sangria which was deeeelicious! Some of the best I have had in Phoenix. We got the Calypso chips to start (plantains and bean dip) - yum!! I got the Cho-Cho (vegetable curry) as an entree. It was good, not great. I like spice and this has none. It was a tad bland but didnt stop me from eating half of it. My boyfriend got the Havana Combination and LOVED it.
This place is different from the typical new age restaurants that we usually go to. That's probably why I enjoyed it so much :)
We will definitely go back, but probably on the weekend bc I am a sucker for Cuban music!
