  • I also live close to the Walden store but I wont be going again. I was there on a Monday morning and they must have had a crazy busy weekend. Half the shelves were empty and what was there had no prices. I think they pulled all the sale tags and forgot to put up the new price tags. There were a bunch of people in produce complaining that there were NO prices on anything. One guy said it happens at that store all the time and another guy said they do it on purpose so that you don't know how much it is until you get to the til. An older lady and I were trying to figure out prices of fruit - nothing on raspberries or red grapes or black grapes. Strawberries had a price but nothing else. I couldn't find prices on a few other things and decided not to bother picking them up. I headed to the til and had a few things price checked but there were people in line behind me and I didn't want to be a pain so I just gave up. I regret it now that I see I paid $10 for a few grapes. Anyhow, here's my problem. I stopped at customer service and told them that quite a few items were not priced and that there was a mob of people pissed off in produce about it. Her response was who? - point them out right now and I will ask them to leave the store if they are running the store down. I made the mistake of telling her one guy was pissed because they do it all the frikking time and she had a melt down that he was using profanity in the store. Seriously woman! That is the problem???? You have pissed off and annoyed a bunch of customers and you want me to point them out so you can ask them to leave? Really!??? Apparently your pricing policy is to not display prices so that people get ripped off and you are going to blame the customers for being annoyed. I walked away, shook my head and muttered that she was being a silly twit. She chased after me and was really mad that I wouldnt tell her specifically and exactly which products I had bought that didnt have prices. I asked her what about all the ones I didnt buy because they didnt have prices. She yelled at me "Well I cant fix the problem if you wont tell me which products dont have prices!!!? Well excuse me - I DONT WORK THERE! You cant boss me around and make me do your job or someone elses job for you. It isnt my job to wander through the store and point out all the items that dont have prices. Look yourself. Not going back!
