Got a GREAT deal by naming my own price on Priceline. Check-in went smoothly, as they let us check in about 3 hours early.
The lobby is extremely nice, and the rooms aren't bad either. They're a tad on the small size, but not unreasonable for the downtown locale. The rooms have nice new flatscreen TVs and nice clean bathrooms.
The location is top-notch, central to everything you might want to do in Pittsburgh. I will admit that the walls are pretty thin, though this didn't turn out to be an issue. They have two "ambient noise" channels on the TV that I liked a lot.
I can't comment on any of the restaurants, but I did go to the Starbucks one morning. It was pretty average for a Starbucks.
Lastly, there appeared to be several weddings happening in the hotel the first night of my visit. I imagine that any Saturday night during the summer months this place will be swamped with wedding-goers.
