  • I stayed here recently and was very disappointed. I paid for an upgrade to a suite but was then forced to change rooms and seemed to be nickel and dimes for everything. Arrived on a Wednesday, foot traffic in the hotel was light and registration line went fairly quickly. As I said I upgraded to a suite in the HRH tower. When I arrived in the room it had a strong odor of marijuana even though I was told it had just been cleaned and was ready for me. I found a marijuana pipe sitting right next to the ice bucket (how could housekeeping miss that and the smell?). I was put in a different suite, this time a corner suite and was not impressed for the money. The light switches only partially worked and obviously at the wayyy end of the hallway. Hard Rock had "Warped Tour" on Friday which meant loads of kids everywhere (sitting on the floor all over the place near restaurants eating food and generally being unsupervised by anyone). It also closed down one of the pools I wanted to and paid to use that day. Last but not least is the distance from the strip and other hotels. It was a $9.00 uber each way each time we wanted to go to the strip. All in all next time I will stay at a hotel on the strip that doesn't up-sell me a suite with drug paraphernalia in it.
