Very cool place. Like the space and layout. When you walk in the bar area is inviting and not hipster. Tables are great for people watching here.
Dining area on other side is quaint seating. Not a fan of the barstool chairs when trying to have a relaxing dinner. I can see if the restaurant wanted to turn table quickly as this is one way to do it. Very uncomfortable for dinner but they did have chair with backs at other tables. We had a large party of 5 and the other tables didn't accommodate more than 4.
Only had 2 dinners, others drank. Apps didn't strike our fancy. I'm gluten free and no butter, which a lot of the food had in it. But, I will say that the chef compensated butter for me on the Skate. Which is my favorite. So kudos. But portion for protein was a bit small. I'd say 4 Oz over the norm 6 to 8 oz.. Pork Tenderloin was a bit pink, but, not undercooked. The dish wasn't plentiful, only 3 pieces of the pork, underweight for sure .
Drinks were great. We liked the infused drinks and drink menu. Some great red wines were on the menu that I haven't had, so score!
I will be back for more menu tastings.
