  • Went to rent a stump grinder. Figured better than a big box store. I called in to reserve. Picked up the grinder and went to the job. The gas tank cap had a bad seal so anytime you would go to start it it would spill gas everywhere. Guy at the shop later said this is normal and nothing wrong. Ha. So anyways got through about 1/16 of the stump when it bogged down and stopped working. Couldn't get it running after that. Called in and they said ok we will note it. Bring it in and we'll get it checked out and get you going with another. I got it back to them just before closing. The guy says I never called because there's no note saying I called. There was clearly a blue note on the paperwork. Tries to say it was user error. It ain't that hard to use a stump grinder. They said I'd have to come back in the morning and deal with it. I came back in the morning. The same guy was trying to blame me and saying it was working fine. Not for me it wasn't. I was like well anyways let me get another to take out or show me that it works and I'll take it again. I'm way to nice. He goes on we sent out all of our grinders already. Wtf!!! I said I needed one the night before and he knew that. Also said complaining wouldn't do me any good saying some people will come in and complain a lot to get a better price but that won't work. Fuming but keep my cool and he gives me 20 off the rental price as a refund. Wtf! Oh and when I called I was like how much is the grinder and the guy said 45 half day 65 full day. I was like that's a lot cheaper than Home Depot rental. He said yup we always have low prices. When I got there they charged me 100. They lied!!! Anyways this place is a total joke and il now be disputing the transaction with my bank to get my money back for a non functioning product. I went to Home Depot and dropped more money but got flawless equipment. Don't be fooled by this place. And don't buy anything from them. After all of this the guy tried to sell me a new one.
