Camaro was in for warranty and non-warranty work. After 4 days the car was done. Showed up and windshield cracked from top to bottom - service guy, John, said that it happens when a hot car with a chip in the windshield is out through their car wash it can crack the window. He said we verbally warn all customers and have signs all over the place --- same BS from service manager -- both pointed to a minuscule surface chip (not a crack) as the culprit and then repeated the same story about hot cars being run through cold water and that it happens more often than people know. Still calling BS on this one. I've driven cars in AZ for 40 years and taken them hot as hot can be through car washes and never had this happen with windshields that had very visible chips and small star impacts. Manage of the car wash up the street laughed and said in his 10 years he's seen cracks get worse but never from the pin point size surface chip that this dealership was pointing to on my car.
On top of that a recurring problem with the entertainment center was not fixed after the 6th such attempt over the last 3 years. I've had service technicians observe the malfunction as it happens and it always a 'software update' --- its defective hardware that's too costly to fix though it is a warranty issue.
Sales department I have no complaints except it takes forever to get through the process even when you pay cash.
I would not recommend taking your car for service at Van -- my experience mirrors many others in Yelp --- there is a history with broken windshields and other poor service - my advice, tell them no to the wash and refuse to sign the spot where it says that they are not responsible for broken windshields from car wash -- I think other carelessness is to blame here = poor management. Better yet, take your car somewhere else.
