| - 3.5 stars for now. I think this is the first Graeter's in PA. In this location, they also sell their sorbet and low glycemic flavors, chocolates, papyrus cards, etc.
I like the ice cream. It's creamy and not too sweet. My faves are the cheese crown (cheesecake ice cream w/cinnamon sugar and fondant pieces) and black raspberry choc chip (supposed to be their best seller). I also liked the peach. It was refreshing and had real peach chunks. My friend said he would've preferred the milkshake to be thicker and have more choice of toppings. I agree.
If you feel like indulging, try one of the sundaes. I tried the 1870 tower (a moist bundt cake, topped with black raspberry choc chip ice cream, pecans, hot fudge, whip and cherry). You have an option to add another scoop of ice cream to any sundae, but I wouldn't recommend it since it's 1000+ cal alone.
Ordering can be confusing. There's no line. You go up to any available associate, or they will let you know that they can help. I almost felt like I was being rude/cutting in line. I think because they just opened that there are things they need to work on such as organization and getting orders correctly. The guy helping us took awhile all along getting our orders wrong. Then the girl at the register not only charged us incorrectly, she also butchered my name on the rewards card. Otherwise, the ice cream is on point! I will probably go back to try the cheese crown sundae and hopefully with better service.
