  • My husband and i got married at Shenandoah Mills in January. It is the CUTEST venue around! We really loved that we could choose all of our own vendors. That was important to us. The owner gave us a little bit of a hard time because he would've preferred it if we had chosen his vendors, but we still had the option which was nice. We did use one of their recommended bartenders, though. The yard games were a HIT and worth the extra charge. The decorations were sooo cute and we loved that we didn't have to worry too much about the linens and centerpieces (they provided both). We just jazzed up the centerpieces (we chose the birdcages). The bridal suite was sooo cute for photos. We didn't get ready there because the bridal party wouldn't have fit. We also had several tables outside and it worked just fine! The venue has heaters you can use for the outside areas if it's chilly out. All in all we loved the venue. We're giving it 4 stars because the owner is a little hard to work with sometimes and doesn't have excellent customer service. But if you go into it knowing that (like i did from other reviews) then you'll be fine.
