  • We enjoyed this hotel quite a bit - the room (in the old section of the hotel) was comfortable, if a little austere, and for three out of the four nights it was quite peaceful, despite looking out on the Place d"Armes. On Friday night we were severly disturbed by the loud music from the hotel bar, but strangely on Saturday night it was fine. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't find the included buffet breakfast to be very interesting, and there were hiccups with the service in the restaurant on three out of the four mornings we had breakfast there. I think the morning restaurant staff need a little more training!
