| - I've been to this location 3 times and each time was a great experience. Because that's what it is- a dining experience.
Eating at Fogo de Chao is much more than just eating. They have a great extensive wine list with selections from all over the world. A full bar offers anything you could ever want, and they brought a cart around with specialty Grand Marnier & Hennessy.
From the start, you know you're in a special place. The wait staff all work together, so there is always someone around to answer a question, get you a clean plate, recommend a good wine, etc. You don't have to wait on one person to get you the service you deserve.
The food starts with small, buttery popovers that melt in your mouth. One visit to the salad bar and you have so many options from salad to cheese, meats like prosciutto and smoked salmon, and vegetables. The presentation is incredible as the salad bar sits in the middle of the room and almost beckons you to get started.
Place your coin on green and it's GO time. They have various cuts of meat from top sirloin to ribeye to chicken to pork, lamb and sausage, and they don't have just one way to prepare it. Some of the filets come wrapped in bacon, some do not. The pork tenderloin is encrusted with Parmesan. In addition to the endless meat that is coming at your plate, they serve garlic mashed potatoes and fried polenta. There's so much going on but you have to pace yourself by turning the coin to red and make sure you get a taste of everything!
This past visit my boyfriend and I were celebrating the purchase of our new home and the sale of an old home. The wait staff found out about it & surprised us at the end of our meal with creme brulee (my favorite actually) with the words CONGRATULATIONS across the plate. It wasn't just a nice touch, it was people going above and beyond to make sure we had a great EXPERIENCE and we did.
Can't wait to go back!
