The issue that this place has is not poor service, it is not rudeness nor lack of empathy. The issue Mike, Chuck and the rest of their staff has is the fact that yelp, trip advisor and all the other social media sites let customers rate and post reviews without so much as even a chance for them to state their side. Reading the reviews on here I really feel that these customers left and never as so much voiced a concern or asked a question but literally drove their amazingly serviced car home and hopped online and quickly bashed the most amazing repair shop I've visited. One thing a customer should look at is if a shop or outlet is sincere by their commitment to their social media standing and when a shop especially one that is as busy as this one still finds the time to reply to disgruntled customers and ecstatic new lifetime ones it shows that they care. On Saturday my Volvo S60 had an issue with... Heck it's easier to say I have 4 new tires, I found Mike and his shop by the power of Google as I was stuck stranded way out in the mountain area of our city. I explained the issue I was having and Mike whom I sure was ready to close but by just a promise over the phone waited an extra hour 1/2 before leaving for me to get my car over to him.
When I dropped it off what I thought was going to be a simple reprogramming of Volvos Computer(Has to be Windows and not a Mac :-)) turned into what at first Sears informed me was nothing wrong they quickly discovered was the heart of a cars charging system.. THE ALTERNATOR... When Chuck phoned me up on Monday to explain my issue and what the cost was by hearing the panic in my voice he really went well above and beyond and literally not only replaced the Alternator that was replaced before with a brand down at the European Import Auto parts store named Pepe Boys :-)) but they replaced it with a genuine Volvo manufactured one for a price that well they literally didn't make a dollar off me.. What is even more extraordinary is that because of me and lack of Automobile knowledge (Remember I buy parts at Pep Boys) my car still needed to be reprogrammed and Mike & Chuck are taking care of that for me as well.. Hopefully they will at least allow me to owe them the 108.00 and not just waive the service cost even though they said they were. This shop really is that true mechanics oath of a repair facility as they care about their customer and his car as if your not just valued but you matter and as this gesture on their end really has earned them a customer for life.
