| - The first thing I'd like to do is respond to the overall consensus of the other reviews on this page. If you're buying a voucher (Living Social, Groupon, Amazon, etc) for a high value service for a really low price, there are almost always additional fees if you look closely. This company isn't the only one who does it. Should they be a little more transparent? Absolutely! And that's the main reason I'm not giving them 5-stars.
2 of their stars come from excellent customer service. I set my appointment for a Saturday a few weeks in advance. I immediately got a text confirmation. My husband called to ask a couple questions on Friday, and they answered the phone and responded appropriately. Friday evening I got a call to confirm the Saturday appointment again. Saturday morning they called to ask if they could come early, as they were ahead of schedule. Matt and Neil arrived and were polite, courteous and respectful. They got to work right away and happily helped with some of the larger furniture and items that sit on the ground, like the trash can, shoe rack and whatnot. Matt almost immediately informed me of the extra charge to clean the heavily soiled areas.... I was aware that they were heavily soiled and didn't hesitate to say yes, I just wanted it done! Upon researching a little more, I found that the acid wash they used is quoted by competitors at around .35/sq ft. They effectively did our whole house for .20/sq ft. I'm not complaining. Matt also followed up after they'd left, to make sure everything was drying as expected.
The other 2 stars are because the house looks fantastic now! They really did a great job. Do you ever get that surge of energy when one area of your home is spotless, and you want the rest to match? That happened to me. I spent hours darting about the house deep cleaning other stuff because I was so excited over how clean the floors were. That feeling alone is worth the price of admission!
Advice to Matt, because I know you're reading this (aside from advising that you address and solve some of the issues mentioned in various reviews, of course)... respond to your Yelp reviews! Polite and reasonable responses to negative reviews speak volumes and lend credibility to yourself. I have to admit that if I'd seen this page before I bought the voucher, I might not have done it. I am so glad that's not the case, and I don't want to see others turned off by them, because the rest of my experience was great.
