This is my first time to this Taiwanese restaurant and you can already consider me a regular. It's a small restaurant within the Mekong Plaza. It's a great find for those who are looking for authentic Chinese food.
The house special chicken with basil is a iconic Taiwanese dish. It comes out in a medium sized pot with a flavorful light brown sauce with a side of rice. The shao long bao is a dim sum dish. It has pork and the inside has soup. It takes about 15-20minutes to make but it is definitely worth the wait. Protip: Wait for it to cool a little before you put it all in your mouth. The soup can be extremely hot! This dish is especially hard to make well, and they did a decent job! Another iconic Taiwanese dish, the famous beef noodle soup, comes in a large bowl. The beef is large and tender. The noodles are thick. I also got the honeydew boba tea slush. They come in either a small or large. The bobas are chewy and the slush was made with the powder flavored honeydew.
