This was my first time here and not knowing what to expect I did what I did back in Illinois where they also have AMC Theaters. I got on their web site, found the times of the movie and sign up for their movie card.
I arrived 10 minutes before 10:00am assuming that the previews would start at 10:00 and I would have plenty of time to get my ticket and refreshments before the start of the movie.
To my surprise there were 2 lines to get tickets; 1 for Regular and Reward card purchasers AND the other line for PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP CARD holders. The regular line snaked it's way to the counter. The Premium line straight lined it to the front and got priority
over the other.
Ok, so now I have waited about 10 minutes
to get my ticket. And find out that PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP cost $15 per year.
I then go to the concession stand to run into the same division. BUT with only 2 people working it ! And one of them is selling Premium Memberships !
I finally got into the show at 10:25 missing the beginning of the movie.
A movie theater is not the place for tiered membership like DISNEYLAND.
Lack of customer service and overpriced concessions will prevent me from returning.
