I was super excited to try this place but the experience was a little disappointing.
The place is cute and the gelato sticks displayed looked aesthetically pleasing. The two girls working there at the time unfortunately weren't all that friendly though. They just handed us menus when we walked up without smiling, without saying "hi" or "welcome", and without asking if we had any questions. No matter, I figured as long as it tastes good I can overlook the service as this place recently opened.
I ended up ordering the birthday cake gelato stick with white chocolate drizzle and rainbow sprinkles. The presentation was nice but there were way too many sprinkles on my stick. All I could taste was artificial sweetness. The birthday cake flavor was OK. I wanted to like it more because it is a flavor that I normally like but it was a little lacking in that flavor. Overall, i'd rather just get gelato in a cup or a creamy paleta at half the cost without the unnecessary toppings.
For $5, I feel like it was a bit of a waste of money. Oh well, at least you can get an instagram pic out of it.
