I have to say that I had a feeling my experience with Emily at Harmony and Health was going to be a good one when she sat me down and thoroughly asked me questions about my health and current troubled area. This is something I always look for and hardly ever get when I go in for a therapy.
I went in with a debilitating pain in my sciatic nerve, to the point that I could hardly walk without stopping every few feet hunched over. The first day of acupuncture and fire cupping seemed to provide some relief but the real effect happened the morning after -I normally felt at least some pulling sensation and tingling in my leg on my way to the bathroom. And this particular morning, NOTHING. I had scheduled another acupuncture treatment with Emily the day before so i started to head over. I thought "maybe I'll walk over" but as I started to walk the pain started again,(although not as bad as previous days)so as I read with sciatic nerve pain- if it hurts, stop doing whatever makes it hurt. So I took an Uber.
Emily began asking me questions again about how, what and where I felt whatever discomfort I had. Based on my answers is where she focused placing the needles. It's now been 2 days and I've felt zero pain!!
I feel words aren't enough to express my gratitude toward Emily. She gave me back my mobility and for that i will be forever grateful!!
I can't recommend the services and Harmony and Health enough! Expect the true meaning of the word "care" when you come here.
