  • Went here thanks to my love for the show Pawn Stars. Was originally curious as to if/when we would be able to get in and had a surprisingly easy time. Though you can take the Deuce down LVB to get here (they have a stop just for the shop), we drove and were please with sizable parking at the shop (the parking lot as seen in the show, in fact - though park on the south side of it, not the north). Apparently there wasn't much of a crowd on a Tuesday summer-evening, so we walked right in. Based on the other reviews I had read about the store, I was expecting it to be smaller than what it appears as on TV, though in all honesty it was pretty accurate looking... jewelry on one side, random collectable stuff on the other, dvds and CD's in the back. But what you don't see on TV that actually takes up the majority of the shop is the INSANE amount of Pawn Stars merchandise that takes up the middle/side of the store! All the stuff is priced for the tourist, and of course you can't bargain on the Chum Lee signed shot glasses or magnet signed by the Old Man. The people working there (no Pawn Stars present during our little visit) weren't the friendliest, but I am sure they are sick of putting up with everyone's shiZ so I guess I can't blame them. There are signs all over that say you can't take pictures inside of the store, too :( Though I am not a pawn shop kind of a girl, I did enjoy my little trip here and will be back to see what new and random stuff comes through it's doors (including the people)!
