  • Rang my doorbell today. I was having a terrible day (two small sick children) and I already didn't really want to be involved with soliciting. He pitched me the deal. Said that because he was in the area they were offering a good deal to surrounding houses (he even had names of my neighbors that I'm positive he made up) I agreed to the price deal because it was good and we have any problems in the summer. The guy came back that same day (which was sketchy to me because he said they were going to be in the area tomorrow and that's the deal that was going on) knocked on my door and rang my bell again incessantly. I then explained that my husband wasn't on board with the deal for the year contract. He gave me a magnet and left. Another phone call in my day asking why my house wasn't able to be serviced. When I explained that my husband really wasn't on board, he offered to come back this evening to explain more to him (which completely ruins his whole story of why the deal was offered anyway). I said I think we will just pass and was abruptly hung up on. No thanks. I'll find someone else.
