My first time at this spa was this pst weekend with a girlfriend. We were both in need of some major relaxation and pampering. I'm a frequent spa goer but have never been to marios. The moment I walked in I knew it was not going to be the experience I was hoping for. This place was beyond outdated and that alone makes it real hard to justify the purchase. The relaxation rooms are far from relaxing. The old leather couches are not inviting and it's extremely bright in all the rooms. The robes are clearly over washed and uncomfortable. My massage was pretty good although it felt very rushed. The facial bed literally looked like it was going to fall over as soon as I laid down as it was slanted. The towels used for the facial all had holes in them and more so resembled a cleaning rag. You could tell the products were cheap and now my face looks worse then it did before I walked in. The pedicure was once again rushed. The girl didn't even file the dead skin off. The nails are not filed straight and the polish job was far from nice. I'm pretty sure the opi nail polish is a knock off as I always get the same color and this is not the same.
We stayed the night in the hotel. It was nothing special. At least it was clean. We only had breakfast. The food was decent but overpriced. They offer lattes but my server told me I couldn't get one because she didn't know how to use the machine...
Needless to say I won't be back. Save your money and go somewhere nicer.
