  • We can only describe our therapy experience with Carol Cathey as AWFUL. My wife and I went to her for marital counseling, and it was then that we discovered true incompetence. This woman has very little empathy, and she can't handle anyone bickering or getting angry. We left every session (after the 1st) feeling worse than when we went in. When we tried to explain to her that she wasn't helping us and how to serve us better, she became very irate and defensive and forced us to leave her office with no explanation before the session was even finished. (She literally threw the door open and ordered us to leave.) Of course, that was our last session. Do yourself a favor, don't subject yourself to this woman or her abuse. She desperately needs her own counseling and, in my opinion, won't help you in the long run.
