  • A vegan friend told me to go here. It took me awhile to figure out where it was. It is off Philo Rd on the same side of the road as Meijer's in an abandoned mini-mall. There is a loopy hand painted "Rick's Bakery" sign on top with a vinyl banner across the front that says BURRITO'S. I have not had a chance to try the BURRITO'S but am looking forward to it. But what about the bakery? At first you think "hmmm not much stuff here" but slow your sugar rush down and soon you'll start seeing freshly made bread behind the counter, cookies, cakes, pastries, croissants...baked goods of all kinds stuffed into the display racks. Whenever I go there, I just sorta started ordering stuff up. Once I "ordered up" so much that I had to freeze the Princess Cake I bought for my birthday. 10 days later I unfroze the cake and it tasted AMAZING! Love this place. The pricing is fantastic. Wish it was in downtown Urbana! Also. They sell tiny little handmade creatures which are on a shelf on the left side of the display cases. Ask for pricing. We got one for my brother in law and he loved it!
