I was having a lot of discomfort in my shoulder and considered a massage but thought perhaps I should try something more medically professional and hopefully helpful. Nope.
If you like thumpin', static-y rap music in the waiting room and sexual innuendos by the staff and patients, this is the place for you! I was annoyed by all this while I filled out my paperwork. I could only see the receptionist and she didn't seem to notice the static over the intercom. I didn't want to be the troublesome new patient so I decided to let it go and not mention it. The repeated sexual innuendos by the male chiropractor was unprofessional but perhaps that's his method of operation. Again, I decided to let it pass but still annoyed and uncomfortable. The last straw was when I heard a female patient say, "Oooooh, the sounds kinky". Ok! I'm not sitting through this porn scene any longer with the static beat still thumping above my head. I got up and asked the receptionist if I would be charged a fee if I left. I told her I was leaving as I didn't like what I was experiencing. She did not seem surprised and said, "Okay". No inquiry as to why and clearly not interested in improving the new patient experience from the start.
I have never been to a place so unprofessional. I was surprised to find this in Scottsdale. Unacceptable.
I ended up getting a wonderful massage anyway. Wasted my time in pursuit of this chiropractic venture.
