I purchased a pre-owned Accent from this dealership just over a year ago. When all 3 of my brake lights went out simultaneously last week, I contacted them with regard to bringing the car in to be serviced. Without asking me for my VIN/purchasing/ownership information or looking up my file, I was told that there was no recall notice for my model... but that if there WERE, they likely wouldn't get the replacement parts in for months.
I asked the service rep if I was supposed to just keep driving around with no brake lights, to which she responded that she would try to get an advisor to call me back, "but they probably won't." When I asked why not, I was told that she "gives these guys messages all the time, but they never call anyone back. You can try calling us again in an hour or so if you don't hear anything." I wasn't even offered an appointment to come in and have the issue diagnosed.
After hanging up, I immediately contacted another dealership who scheduled me into their soonest available appointment. This was 5 days ago and Kingscross Hyundai STILL has not called me back.
