I was in a couple of weeks ago with a small group. We sat at a booth in the downstairs bar area. The downstairs is a nice cozy place with a fireplace going on cold, rainy nights.
The server was friendly but there were a number of glitches while we were having dinner. My friends split an order of prime rib and asked for horseradish when they ordered. The prime rib came out without the horseradish and she had to wait a good ten minutes for it to arrive. By then the meat was getting cold.
I had the rack of lamb and it was pretty good. We told the server that we were splitting this between the two of us. There was never a second plate brought so we wiped off the plate left on the table from an appetizer and made do with that as the second plate.
The food here is very good but they seemed a little short-staffed and the service suffered.
