The best way to review this bar inside the Texas Station is to focus on the friendly barkeeps. The bar itself is a hoot, but most of the locals are more interested in gaming than in enjoying a slow drink, does that make any sense? I so think that the main feature here are the people that maintain the drinks flowing. The barkeeps are courteous and love their sports, so if your spouse is playing or the kids are watching a movie, this might not be a bad place for you.
They offer the traditional Martinis here, including your fancy Appletinis, they make a fantastic Bombay Gin and Tonic ( ask for the lime), and the beer is always served cold.
They have several screens playing various sports and as I stated your barkeep will keep you entertained and current on the sport of your choice. I truly think that the trick to this bar is not to come alone, you need to come here with a friend or two to really enjoy the old western atmosphere it offers. Having said this, most guests chose to sit and play at the bar rather than sit in the leather chairs and gab over a few drinks.
