rev:text	This review includes my first impression and after numerous visits it still stands as a solid sexy 5 star spot. This place is sexy....from the moment you start the slow descent down the stone steps you start to feel sexy ( well i did ! ) Anticipation starts to lick at you, and you get the feeling you are about to experience something memorable. The lower level of Rokerij Does not disappoint. Upon entering I began to feel wanton.... Dimly lit with only 3 circular booth style table's, nice copper topped bar & a sexy hearth flanked by chairs, wonderful framed artwork dripped from every wall, I knew I was in date night heaven. The waiter came over immediately, and was attentive throughout Dinner . Solid wine list offering by the glass /2 glass pitcher or full bottle.(we had a New zealand red that was very good) An eclectic menu to chose from ; I ordered the sausage plate which arrived piping hot with four perfectly grilled spicy sausages layered atop pinto beans, and a tortilla. This was a more spicy meal than i had anticipated, and such a generous portion, that i actually could not finish it and had to have it boxed up .( great box that they give you--it is like receiving a gift) My dinner companion had the skewers over rice and beans and he enjoyed it . Every thing about the place was hot and sexy we did not feel rushed as lingering is allowed here .....we finished up the wine by the hearth . Ambiance & great service = a fabulous night Update; Happy hour here rocks. I can never say enough great things about the Rokerij!!
