  • Community park with many extra features. Lake for fishing--check. Covered picnic ramadas--check. Extensive walking paths--check. Playground with huge bridge/slides combo--check. Ample parking--check. Splash pad for hot days--check. Weekends and holidays: Carousel--check. Snack bar--check. Awesome mini-railroad--check. I attended my best friends retirement party here under the covered ramadas--it was terrific. I have spent many days here with the grandkids on the playgrounds and also on holidays riding the train or carousel. This park is clean, well-maintained, and large enough to feel uncrowded, even when being used by a lot of people. What would make it 5 stars? The carousel desperately needs refurbishing. The cost of the train and carousel are a little high for large families or families with low incomes. More seating for parents in the playground area.
