| - I arrived on a Sunday evening around 7pm and there was a long line to check in. There are 3 computers for mobile self check-in, but it requires a code (received via email) to scan on the mobile check-in computer. I tried to get the code while standing in line by checking in online, but it said error, no rooms available. I waited in line for about 20-30 minutes before I got to the front. Once there, check-in was fast and the front desk staff was friendly and informative. I recommend checking in online prior to arriving, so upon arrival, guests can use the mobile check-in computer. It's much faster if there is no need to talk to a front desk employee. The computers were empty; no one was using them.
I got a room in the Royal Tower, which was convenient for me since I used Uber/Lyft a couple of times, and rideshare pick-ups/drop-offs is right outside the door next to the Royal Tower elevators. Otherwise, access to the strip/Las Vegas Blvd is by the Resort Tower, across the casino.
The room itself is standard, with 2 queen beds. It has the basics - TV with option for express checkout, a desk, air conditioner/thermostat, and basic toiletries such as shampoo, lotion, and bar soap (no conditioner or body wash). The room has a spacious walk-in shower, but no tub although it used to be a tub. The toilet is worn out with scratches and flushes very slowly. For a trip to Vegas with limited time spent in the room, the room is good and has all the basics one would need. My room had a nice view of Luxor (the pyramid) next door. I observed a nice sunset/sunrise with a partial mountain view. The location is okay, not too bad with an easy walk to many other hotels.
