  • Glass Monocle is a gem of a shop in The Annex. They deliver boutique products and services, without the extravagant prices. On my first visit to the store, I was looking for a specialist to fix my eye glasses. One of the two owners (Jacky) took the time to thoroughly examine them and determine it will be more economical to actually get a new pair. I really appreciated how he took the time to search for the replacements for my old glasses, and gave me an honest, professional opinion on how to stretch my budget to the most! Their selection has a nice range of styles and prices. Shop is impeccably neat and creative (check out the hand-made calligraphy notes that decorate the shelves - lovely!). They also offer eye exam onsite. Six business days after placing my order, I received a pair of unique and exquisite specs fitted to my facial contour and uses, at a fantastic price! All I can say is, bye bye Clearly, hello Glass Monocle :)
