Came in for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure on a saturday afternoon. The spa is quite small with only 3 manicure tables and 3 pedicure chairs. After reading all the raving reviews we decided to try this place out... reviewers commented that the spa was clean and i admit it was on the exterior... but as i was getting my nails done i was watching how they clean their tools.. to my surprise not once did i see some anti bacterial soap out.. instead i noticed them rinse it in warm water and just left it on the side to dry. Really worrisome..
The prices were quite cheap for shellac mani and regular pedi (40$) but cheap really does get you cheap quality/ outcomes... first off.. my house has more nail polish selection than them! From the looks of their display they only had about 30 or so nail colours to choose from. They also did not have very many shellac colours. My nail lady was very friendly but had sort of robotic conversations with me ( always had to say my name at the end of every sentence. As if she was told to do that). I really needed a good scrub on the bottom of my foot and when the time came i noticed them using a scrubber that resembled a cheese grater.. at first i was really worried that it would hurt because usually at other nail places they use a scrubber that is softer...well by the time i got home the bottom of my feets were rough and prickly.. they were not conditioned well after the scrub and i had to do my own scrub at home after! The nail paint job was ok.. not fully perfect but passable..
I definitely will not be returning.. the nail lady was ok but i had to basically redo my feet again when i got home.
