  • After a poor experience in another Charlotte BBQ place earlier this week we tried Midwood Smokehouse. The sun was shining and we were seated at a table outside at our request. Mary was a fantastic server and I had the ribs (dry), mac & cheese and bacon-wrapped jalapeños. Tried all of there sauces and preferred the house mix and the habanero mix. My only mistake was in ordering the full rack as I had no room for desert. After the meal Mary arranged for the manager to give us a tour of their hickory-fired smoker. All in all a great meal and a very nice time.
