I am a new-to-target grocery shopper. I did Walmart basically because of price and the online ordering- so my review is kinda in comparison. But, after my creamer disappeared from nearly every store and was spotted here, I stopped in for some and decided to give the groceries there a shot- so I've now done my weekly shopping there twice. My second week was a better experience- I didn't bring my toddler which helped since the store is it very familiar, and I arrived at 8 am as they opened. Let's not forget the Starbucks on site that's a lifesaver.
I do notice the prices are higher, but there are also more (than Walmart) organic options that I go for so that's worth the price. I think the meat is way high on price (basically pre-portioned and $9.99 for all) so I do that in bulk at Sams club. Every employee I passed said "good morning" and made sure I was ok. Very nice. Even customers and stockers were friendly!
I always get the only messed up cart, and this one was missing the bottom shelf. I needed a few waters, so the cashier had someone grab a cart and go get them for me.
I still haven't signed up for red card, so the cashier reminded me and said if I had a check (I did!) that he could set it up for me. :)!!! He even turned off his light so that customers weren't held up waiting while he helped me. I got 5% off for signing up. (Nobody told me that before)
The store is clean, people are so polite and helpful, so much organic, cartwheel is awesome. So glad I found this awesome spot for groceries. And creamer!!
