| - Outstanding food, most of the time at least, but the service at this Arrowhead location is terrible.
As other reviewers have noted numerous times, service at this location is inexplicably slow. I have been there when it was packed, empty and everything in-between. I have been there with my wife, my family members, with work for team and group events, you name it, and the service has always been poor.
More recently, I have found that even when the place is nearly empty and there are more wait-staff than diners, you still cannot get timely service. It seems to always be friendly service, as others have pointed out, just extremely slow. On our last visit, my wife and I sat ignored in a booth for over fifteen minutes, arms folded in front of empty plates, waiting for a check since a refill never came and nobody checked on us after the food came out.
I took this to the management and spoke with them for probably the third or fourth time about their service problem and also sent a lengthy email to the owners as well, describing my service experience and the consistent pattern of bad service (and no apology) at this particular location.
The end result? The owners never even responded to my email, despite numerous assurances from the manager that they would speak to me. As a result, I've decided to never patronize this location or any other Dillon's ever again. I will sorely miss the food, as will my wife and our family, but I will not dine at an establishment where the owners give repeat customers (who struggle to remain loyal) the cold shoulder.
Customer service is clearly not a priority at Dillon's and, judging by the owners' lack of response to a concerned customer, it obviously is a top-down problem.
I would avoid this place if you expect great service, because it has never been my experience and I doubt it ever will be when the management has this kind of attitude towards customer service.
