Not really a dive bar anymore after recent renovations and a name change (it's now "Wychwood Pub"). Nice interior, much better and more inviting than the original Legends. We live very close so it's super convenient.
That said, as much as I want to like this place (since it's so close), upon our first visit, it's disappointing. Menu is somewhat limited, nothing more than standard bar fare.
On top of that, it's rather pricey for what you get. Fish and chips was $14 and was run of the mill at best. The fish was a little overdone - fries were good but not worth $14.
Rudimentary grilled cheese sangwich and fries was $8.50 - an extra $3 to upgrade to a salad. Again, passable stuff, but too much $ for what you get.
Even cocktails seemed a little steep at $8.85 each. Beer menu could use some fleshing out.
Sadly as it stands (barring any improvements) I can only see this being a place to go if we REALLY need to go to a bar and REALLY don't feel like going too far to get to one. Maybe these shortcomings can be addressed? A local can hope.
