| - WHAT IS THAT FREAKING SMELL!?
Okay, one star is a little harsh. To be fair, I love the *rest* of the store. The layout is awkward and the parking lot, like everybody else has covered, really sucks. Eventually, there's going to be a parking spot open. Eventually, you'll get used to the layout, as I have.
BUT WHAT, FFS, IS THAT AWFUL ODOR?
I started going to this HT just 2 months ago. I got used to the location and parking and layout, and blahblahblah, because the produce is wonderful and varied here. I can almost always find what I need.
It used to be just the dairy section that smelled, and that was only when you opened the doors. My precious cartons of almond milk were still sealed, so I'd just hold my breath when I opened the doors, whisk out my carton and shut the door really quickly and roll my cart away as fast as I could before I took another breath. No big deal.
Two or three weeks ago I was in, and the entire dairy area smelled awful. It's, like, just that one row at the side/back of the store. What is the deal? So I skipped that section all together. Publix has the yogurt I want, too, and now Costco has almond milk.
Today the area just inside the main doors stank, too. The ENTIRE store stank. WHAT IS GOING ON? I was in there less than 10 minutes and I left with a huge headache.
I'm not coming back until they get that fixed. I will drive all the way to Matthews if it means I don't have to deal with that ridiculous rot stench.
