| - Do your furniture shopping elsewhere. Salesperson's very nice to make a sale, but when a problem arises, they don't want to hear it. On 8/27/2017 my wife and I purchased two framed glass covered pictures from Ashley Homestore, Bell Road in Glendale, AZ. We needed to buy two to fill the space needed where we were going to hang them. They had a sale on the pictures we liked, buy one get one free. Each picture came out to $275 and the total with tax was $600.60. I hung up both pictures using hollow wall picture framing screws that handled 50 pounds. (The pictures didn't weigh that much though although on the heavy side). About three days later one of the pictures fell off the wall and crashed to the floor destroying the frame. We immediately took the other one down so it didn't fall also and it is in perfect shape. I take full responsibility for the picture that was totally damaged and will pay, but now cannot use the other one and was to return it. Called customer service twice and was told we can't return the picture because all of a sudden it was listed as "sold as is" and no refund. We were not told this by the sales person, it does not say that on the ticket attached to the pictures or on the receipt. All we got was a "sorry". Also spoke to the salesperson, Amy Holt, that sold us the pictures and she said the same. Her solution was to go to the hardware store that we bought the hangers from and get reimbursed from them!! Two problems with that......one it is a totally ridiculous suggestion if not insane and second I am not talking about the damaged picture. She must have said that five times, then told me this conversation is over and hung up on me. As I said I am paying off the picture that was destroyed and just want a refund for the picture that is in perfect shape. No one said, no refunds. Yelp is next.
