It was a nice Monday and although the weather report said it would rain, we were pleasantly surprised with the sunny warm skies. So we decided to go for a little trip to Don Mills. It was my first time here and it kind of reminded me of a fancy outdoor outlet, except it's not outlet stores. They have shops like Banana Republic, Anthropologie, Lindt, and Guess. They have some boutiques too that I don't remember the name of. Clothes are generally pretty expensive here. We just went to look. Parking is crazy. For some reason it was really packed for a Monday afternoon. We had to park on the second floor of the parkade.
McEwans was the most fun place to go. They have so much food and fancy stuff to look at. Everything looks so yummy (and expensive)! It reminds me of a Whole Foods.
The highlight of my trip was seeing this homeless lady slowly making her way through the mall area. She's known to frequent buses, hospitals, Tim Hortons, and Loblaws.
This was a nice place to spend 2 hours or so browsing and looking at food. I would not go if the weather was cold or wet, though. I wonder how businesses do then?
