I've driven by this place a million times and never really thought to check it out. This all changed last week when I met a old friend there for drinks.
Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised by the service and interior. I was expecting a dive bar but turns out that BJ's actually is a lounge, complete with a big leather sofas, full size pool tables and modern décor. There is even an adjacent liquor store right next to the bar if you want to take the booze with you.
Our bartender Bladen was incredibly helpful and welcoming. His food recommendations of buffalo wings and nachos were spot on and his service went way beyond our expectations. The portion on our chicken nachos were huge and the wings were fall off the bone tender. BJ's gets extra props for having Pyramid hefeweizen on tap and a good selection of IPAs. Beers were decently priced at around $5 a pint; come in during happy hour from 4-6 for an even better value.
Overall it was a great experience thanks to awesome service and top notch food. I'll definitely be back.
