Ahh, Guy Fieri, you've led me astray. The food at The Dor-Stop Restaurant is solid but unimpressive. My vegetarian Jumbot came out with the cheese looking decidedly congealed (it was, I watched the dish sit under the warming station for 10 minutes.) Spicy?
Not particularly. The pumpkin pancakes had good flavor, but were doughy and undercooked.
Service can make up for a multitude of food sins. Unfortunately, here it didn't. The service, at least on my visit, was obviously from the culture of "No."
Me: Hi, can you serve the Jumbot as a burrito? (Same basic ingredients as the burrito).
Server: No.
Me: Ok, how about a side of pierogies?
Server: No. That's only for the special.
Service efficiency was also lacking. 25 minutes to get an order of pancakes?
Good bye Dor-Stop. I won't be returning.
