I wanted to pass along my recent visit to your store to purchase a refrigerator. Let me start from the beginning. I visited your store on March 21, 2016 and found a refrigerator that worked. When discussing the details with the individual who helped me, I explained what timeframe I needed the refrigerator delivered. He looked in the computer and told me that that specific refrigerator in white was on back-order but that the black one was currently available and could be delivered on March 31, 2016. This worked out perfectly because the black one was the one that I was looking for. I purchased the black refrigerator(I've attached my receipt to this email) and was told that I would get a call the day before to get a 3-4 hour window for the delivery.
On March 29th at 3:30pm, I received an email telling me that my delivery appointment was set for April 26th. I was very confused by this because the individual at your store told me that you had one available and my receipt says March 31st as well. I called your customer service line(1-800-bestbuy) this morning(3/30) to discuss this discrepancy. When she looked into my purchase, she told me that somehow my refrigerator was sold before delivery and now I was now on back-order. I inquired on how if one was available for purchase when I paid and a delivery was scheduled, how did I get on the back-order list 8 days later. The lady could not answer my questions and just told me that there was nothing that she could help me with. I then visited your store at approximately 11am on Wednesday, March 30th. I waited in the customer service line and was served by a blonde women that was a "team leader." I went through my story and all she could tell me was that this happens sometimes and she could refund my money. I asked her how she would feel as a customer if she was told that something was available at the time of purchase but was sold to someone else before it could be delivered. She didn't have an answer and just said that I could have my money back. I inquired if she was at all interested in keeping my business as all she kept telling me was that I could get my money refunded. She just said that this happens sometimes and there was nothing else that she could do. I wasn't asking her to give me anything for free but maybe just see if there was something else that was of similar size that could be delivered within the week. Since it did not seem like there were any other options, I decided to get my money refunded. This business has very poor customer service and there are plenty of other places to purchase electronics/appliances/etc.
